Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519)
Leonardo da Vinci was
born in Italy in 1452. He was a naturalist, an anatomist, engineer, and
painter. When he was in his thirties he began to wonder if man could fly.
So he built several flying machines, but they did not work very well. Leonardo
da Vinci painted marvelous things. I am sure you have heard of "Mona Lisa".
It is the most famous painting in the world. It is located at the Louvre
Museum in Paris.
